The CropBox
The CropBox is a fresh produce delivery service in which we source fresh produce from urban farmers in and around Johannesburg (Tarlton region), and deliver them directly to consumers.
For us it’s about:
- Enabling a short supply chain between farmer and the consumer
- Supporting small, local farmers that are mostly young and farm in and around urban areas, ensuring that we provide them with access to a market
- Gifting our consumers with the power of knowing where their food comes from
Our farmers use a variety of farming methods to grow the produce, such as hydroponic practices, open field farming, and organic.
